Living as far north as I do, there is an abundance of solar energy half the year. The other half of the year, there is an abundance of seasonal depression. For the former half, I am attempting to harness that and power some small projects. The first of which is a simple ESPHome camera.
Whenever available (depending on solar conditions), you'll see a streaming view out my window here. It's from an
ESP32 camera board powered by 20,000 mAh battery with a 280 ma solar panel on it. $40 on sale and a slow charging unit,
should (and does) die every couple of days if fully charged. Someday, I'll hook up a beefier solar panel.
